Help to make your special moments unforgettable. It is possible to host any special event in East Africa - whether a wedding, honeymoon, anniversay or birthday. Safaris and exotic beach locations are what dreams are made of, so why not combine these with one of your life’s memorable occassions.

Volunteering

Volunteering is a brilliant way to really immerse yourself in this amazing country, the culture and to be able to make a sustainable impact on the lives of people in the community. We can help you volunteer with a community or project with where you donate your time, funds raised or both.

There are many large volunteering organisations where you can pay to be part of a large group where you paint a school, dig a well, etc. This is not what we are offering.

What we are offering is a unique opportunity to be placed within a small organisation or community where you can make a difference. However, this will be a lot of ground work for you. The first thing to work you is 'What can I do?' and then 'Will this be good for the project/community?'.

One of the best ways to impact, is through training. What skill do you have that you can then come and teach other people. Ideally it should be a skill which they can then pass on to others, or use to start a small business. For example, if you are studying to be a nurse or doctor, you could visit local communities and teach first aid. Could you teach 'sex education' to teenagers? If you are training as a teacher, you could teach teachers in schools the most modern teaching techniques. If you have a short time in Nairobi, you visit a local nursery school and teach some craft projects and read books. If you are a graphic designer or programmer, you could teach some young adults skills that could lead them so start their own businesses. Could you go into slums to show a youth group how to grow food in 'grow bags' or plastic bottles. The possibilities are endless.

We are associated with a number of small organisations, including a school, orphanage, various Maasai communities, slum projects – to name a few. So get your thinking cap on, and contact us with your good ideas, and we will see how we can help you turn these into reality on the ground.

Oh, and what do we charge for our service? Absolutely nothing. Any money you raise we are happy that that goes directly into whichever project we can help you volunteer with.
