Volcanoes National Park

Highlights: Dramatic scenery, walk through the lower gorge, hot springs, walking amongst animals.

The home of 'Gorillas in the Mist', this national park is as spectacular as it is unique. Known as a haven for the mountain gorilla, it was the base for the famous zoologist Dian Fossey.

Nyungwe Forest

Highlights: Dramatic scenery, walk through the lower gorge, hot springs, walking amongst animals.

One of the only places that you can walk and cycle amongst plains game, Hell’s Gate is a great day out of the car and exploring these ancient gorges of the Great Rift Valley.
