Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
We depart in the morning initially heading North from Nairobi, stopping for magnificent views over the Great Rift Valley. We then begin our descent west over the escarpment and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley through the town of Narok to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. With game viewing enroute we drive to your lodge in time for lunch. After check in, you can depart on your afternoon game drive, returning to your lodge late afternoon for dinner and overnight. And don’t forget the Masai Mara is not fenced and that you can look out for animals not long after departing Narok.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Today you can enjoy a full day game viewing with picnic lunch on the Mara River over-looking the Hippo Pools and the Serengeti. Alternatively if you would like to spend more time at the lodge enjoying the facilities, then a morning and afternoon game drive is recommended. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

If you are visiting during the migration period and want to try to catch some of this great specticle, we would advise to have a minimum of two full days in the Masai Mara to maximise your chances of seeing a crossing. Even if the animals are mingling around the river they will not cross daily.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Rise early for a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. With a packed lunch we depart for Lake Nakuru. You have the option to visit a Masai village to learn a little about the life of this colourful tribe. Arrive at Nakuru late afternoon, with game drive enroute to lodge, check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Before breakfast, depart the lodge for an early morning game drive. Return for breakfast and check out. You then have the option to enjoy the day at the lodge or to explore more of the National Park. Mid afternoon, depart for Nairobi, arriving around 17:00.

Transport to/from Nairobi, park entry fees, lodge accommodation, meals while on safari, guide, exclusive use of vehicle for your safari group.

Not included
Personal insurance, visas, items of a personal nature, sodas and alcohol.

Don’t forget to bring
Sunhat, sunscreen, insect repellent, warm fleece, camera, binoculars, local currency or US$ for purchases.

Prices for this safari will depend on the combination of lodges which you select. Prices are based on your lodge selections and availability and start from:

Supplement for stays during Easter, Christmas and New Years.

Child 3-17 prices are available on request. Please advise what the sleeping and room arrangements will be for each child (own bed/own room). As a guide costs around 75% of adult price. Proof of age may be required.
Child 0-2 not using a seat or bed are free.
