Flying to and from the Masai Mara is a great way to experience a Kenyan safari without the long and bumpy drive - and most importantly will maximise your time in the park viewing game and relaxing at your lodge.

All of the flying lodge packages are inclusive of everything from the time you leave your hotel in Nairobi, to the time you return - no hidden charges. Of course there are lots of optional extras that you can take advantage of during your stay at your lodge.

Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
You will be collected from your hotel at approximately 08:30 and transferred to Nairobi’s domestic airport, Wilson. The flight departs at 10:00, heading west across the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the Masai Mara airstrip at around 11:00.

From the airstrip you will be transported to your lodge for a delicious lunch, with a game drive on route. From mid-afternoon you will enjoy your first full game drive. Your package includes two game drives per 24-hour stay – one morning and the other afternoon, which are the best times to spot animals on the move. Dinner and overnight in the lodge you have selected.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Rise early and after a quick snack, board your safari vehicle for a morning game drive. You will return to the lodge for breakfast, then have the day at the lodge at leisure including lunch. Late afternoon you will depart on your afternoon game drive before returning to lodge for dinner. You also have the option to maximise your game viewing with a full-day game viewing with picnic lunch on the Mara River over-looking the hippo pools and the Serengeti (additional cost, please enquire).

If you are visiting during the migration period and want to try to catch some of this great specticle, we would advise to have a minimum of two full days in the Masai Mara to maximise your chances of seeing a crossing. Even if the animals are mingling around the river they will not cross daily. This might also influence the lodge that you select as some are closer to the river than others.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
After your early morning game drive, you will return to your lodge for breakfast. Then you have a full day at leisure at your lodge including a delicious buffet lunch. Of course, if you would like to do extra game drive, this can be arranged at your lodge during your stay. Your flight departs from the Masai Mara at 16:00 arriving in Nairobi at 17:15.

Transport to/from Wilson airport, airstrip to lodge transfers, park entry fees, lodge accommodation, all meals, two two-hour game drives per 24 hour stay.

Not included
Personal insurance, visas, items of a personal nature, tips, drinks.

Don’t forget to bring
Sunhat, sunscreen, insect repellent, warm fleece, camera, binoculars, local currency or US$ for purchases.

Child 3-17 prices are available on request. Please advise what the sleeping and room arrangements will be for each child. As a guide costs around 75% of adult price. Proof of age may be required.
Child 0-2 not using a seat or bed are free.
Supplements apply for single occupancy and during Christmas Easter and New Year.
Park fees included are for Mara Reserve only. Other Mara Conservancy fees are not included.
