This non profit organisation was established as little as 12 years ago, originally an 18000 -ha cattle ranch. Now after much hard work the animal numbers are great, about 20% of the worlds grevys zebra and 8% of the worlds black rhino live here, which is astounding.

There is also the rare aquatic sitatunga antelope and many numbers of elephants, white rhino, leopards, lions, buffalos and cheetah. Unfortunately it is not possible to come here and use your own vehicle to game drive, you have to use LWC vehicles, but there are a number of lodges available to stay with but none under $285 a night, although this does include full board, park fees, game drives and transfers.

The conservancy gives 30% of profits to the community
to help with health care and education and 40% towards community projects and the rest for security and conservation.
