Peaceful budget beachfont at Tiwi Beach, Mombasa!

Away from the crowds of the large resorts, situated on a large beachfront plot, shaded by trees, Twiga Lodge is possibly the best budget option on the south coast.

This is the perfect choice if you dream about long walks along isolate beaches by the Indian Ocean or reading a book undisturbed under the shade of a palm tree, while the monkeys are playing around.

There is a restaurant, bar and convenience store on site. At the restaurant you can try some of the local seafood delivered daily by fisherman and the friendly staff will only add to a great visit.

Choices of accommodation are in standard (basic) rooms, superior seaview rooms and there is also a spacious camping ground - and all are reasonably priced for such a great location. The superior seaview rooms are large and clean, and the most popular choice for western visitors.

Tiwi Beach is quite isolated, which is great to have a peaceful break. If you would like to go shopping, eat at other restaurants or visit some of the local bars, these are based at Diani around 20 minutes by taxi.
