Keekorok Lodge

Keekorok is located in the heart of the rolling savannah of Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve.

Keekorok, meaning 'motley abundance' in the local Masai language, was constructed in 1962 on a choice eighty-acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush grassland. Built from indigenous materials like cedar and pink and grey river stone, the single story villas face different directions overlooking the sprawling lawns and gardens.

You can enjoy days sitting under the bougainvilleas, watching the birds and monkeys play in the trees as you sip on one of Kenya's exquisite coffees. And after a dip in the refreshing pool, you can indulge in a sundowner at the Hippo Bar watching the hippo play in the water below.

At night there is entertainment in the bas as well as Masai warriors who come to perform traditional dances.
